housands of local residents and dignitaries from dozens of countries gathered on Friday morning in Blang Padang field, Banda Aceh, Aceh, to attend a ceremony to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Indian Ocean tsunami, which devastated the country's westernmost province.
The ceremony started at 9 a.m. and was led by Vice President Jusuf Kalla.

Also attending the ceremony were representatives from dozens of international organizations that had provided Aceh with post-tsunami aid and recovery assistance. (nfo)
