The Aceh Besar Police have demolished 800,000 cannabis bushes planted on an 8 hectare farm in Lampanah Lengah, Seulimeum district.
Police Chief Adj. Sr. Comr. Heru Novianto said the farm, located in a mountainous area four hours by foot from the nearest road, was found last week.
'We have not yet found the owner. But based on the various sizes of the plants, we suspect that the owner was continuously planting the trees,' Heru said as quoted by Antara on Sunday.
He also mentioned that dozens of police officers started to demolish the ganja trees on Thursday and would continue until Tuesday. (***)
