he Jambi City Education Agency will conduct urine tests on all senior high school and equivalent level students in the city under the Jambi 2015 municipal programs.

Office head Rifai said on Wednesday that the urine tests would be conducted soon and funds had been earmarked for the purpose.

'€œThe funds amount to Rp 200 million [US$15,832]. We will consult with the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) beforehand as to whether or not the funds are sufficient,'€ said Rifai.

Separately, Jambi Mayor Sy Fasha pointed out the urine tests were aimed at stamping out drug use and dealers in the city.

Those found using drugs will be sanctioned in accordance with BNN regulations. (***)
