Police have stated that a 23-year-old student was under the influence of lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) when his reckless driving killed four people in South Jakarta on Tuesday evening. Jakarta Police spokesman Martinus Sitompul said late on Wednesday that Christopher Daniel Sjarief was driving under the influence of LSD, also known as acid. '€œHe tested positive for having consumed LSD around three hours before the incident took place.'€

LSD, an iconic drug of the 1960s counterculture in the US, can alter a person'€™s thinking processes and sense of time.

Your comments:

Will he get to join the illustrious killer gang of Ahmad Dani'€™s son and Hatta Rajasa'€™s son in killing and getting away from justice?

Or will being known to have taken drugs change the money and power factor of being able to literally get away with murder?

Unless there were statements made or searches conducted that indicated that the hallucinogen lysergic acid was involved, the specific and expensive test is not part of normal blood and urine testing.

Perhaps it was recently imported from San Francisco.

Of all the hallucinogens, LSD is the most potent known to man. Taken orally, it takes as little as 25 micrograms, or 0.000025 grams, of LSD to produce rich and vivid hallucinations in the user.

While it is possible to test one'€™s urine for LSD, the very tiny amounts involved make detection very difficult. There is also the fact that it is rapidly expelled by the body, usually within 24-48 hours.

Standard and cheap tests do not usually screen for LSD. But if it is specifically requested, there are a number of tests that can be performed to detect LSD in the body. Note that these tests tend to be more expensive than your basic drug-testing process.

It is natural for drug users to find ways to pass a drug test. In the case of LSD users, there isn'€™t much to worry about.

The NIDA-recommended basic tests do not run an LSD assay, unless whoever wants them tested specifically asks for it and orders the more expensive and exhaustive tests.

That'€™s some evil planning! But maybe it'€™s just because Megawati decides for Jokowi and for everything.
