Singer Cakra Khan says that he likes looking for clothes on the cheap in the warrens of Jakarta's largest textile market.
'I'm more into shopping at Tanah Abang market, which sells stuff for Rp 15,000 [US$1.18] to Rp 20,000 apiece,' the 22-year-old said as quoted by kapanlagi.com.
'Why would I need to buy a piece of clothing worth Rp 20 million?'
The former cafe singer ' who once was paid Rp 200,000 a gig ' said that he'd rather invest than spend on haute couture.
Cakra, who sang the hit song 'Harus Terpisah' (We've Got to Separate), also wants to take care of his family, he said. 'I can also give a little to my parents. I'm really grateful.'
