Navy partner to file PK against foreign firms

ocal shipyard PT Batamas Jala Nusantara, a company partnered with the Indonesian Navy in Batam, Riau Islands, is planning to file a case review (PK) with the Supreme Court against four Singaporean companies.

The four Singaporean companies, which are Sanwa Singapore Agencies Pte. Ltd., Otto Industrial Co. Pte. Ltd., Brizil International Pte. Ltd. and Yawson Engineering Works Pte. Ltd., were reported to have caused PT Batamas Jala Nusantara to go bankrupt over a debt dispute, based on a Medan Commercial Court ruling in 2003.

'€œWe have prepared the material for the review soon to be filed at the Supreme Court,'€ PT Batamas Jala Nusantara director Tato Suwarto said in a press conference in Medan on Tuesday. (***)
