Glenn Fredly says he'€™s marking 20 years'€™ in the music industry with the launch of a new album.

'€œTwenty years is a symbol of my love for the world of music,'€ the venerable rhythm-and-blues singer/ songwriter said on Friday, as reported by tribunnews.com.

The album, Glenn'€™s 12th, will feature 10 songs and has been scheduled for release in April.

'€œThe album will tell of love, life, friendship and disappointment, Glenn, said. '€œThere will also be collaborations,'€ Glenn, who also produced the award-winning film Cahaya Dari Timur '€” Beta Maluku (Light from the East: We are Maluku) added, declining to say who would share the limelight with him.

'€œMay the new album inspire the musicians to come,'€ Glenn said. '€œAnd may the next generation exceed what I have done.'€
