A fisherman reported on Friday the discovery of another body part believed to belong to a victim on AirAsia flight QZ8501.

The body part, a left leg with a sock and a size 39 Jaguar shoe, was found by Saidar, 45, in the Burancie waters off Mangkoso district, Barru regency, South Sulawesi.

When reached for confirmation on Friday, Makassar chapter National Search and Rescue Team (Basarnas) operations head Deden Ridwansyah said a team was directly sent to fetch the body part and sent it to the Bhayangkara Police Hospital in Makassar. It would be later airlifted to Surabaya on Saturday for identification by the Disaster Victim Identification Unit.

This left leg is the 13th body part from the AirAsia flight that was found in West and South Sulawesi.
