To assist pedestrians, the Transportation Agency'€™s West Jakarta office plans to renovate six crossing bridges on Jl. Daan Mogot.

Office head Mirza Aryadi said on Friday that the six crossing bridges were located in front of television station office Indosiar, state elementary school SD 02 Cengkareng, Daan Mogot city park, a Mitsubishi dealer shop and ones on the border of Jakarta and Tangerang, Banten.

'€œThe renovation work will range from repainting the bridges and replacing the stairs to repairing the roof,'€ he said as quoted by beritajakarta.com.

Mirza said his agency would prioritize the bridges that were in dire need of attention, some of which had stairs missing and added that the agency would also prioritize the bridge near the school as the roof was broken.

'€œThe renovation of six bridges will cost around Rp 150 million [US$11,700],'€ he said.
