t least 15 people were killed and dozens of others injured after a bus rolled over at high speed after failing to make a sharp turn on the Jangli Toll Road in Semarang, Central Java on Friday afternoon.

The injured victims were taken to the Bhayangkara, Kariadi, St. Elisabeth and Sultan Agung hospitals. Semarang Traffic Police unit chief Adj. Sr. Comr. Pungky Bhuana said the 15 people died on the scene.

The bus, Sang Engon, had taken 58 people, most of them middle-aged, from Bojonegoro, East Java, on Friday morning to attend a religious event in Pekalongan, Central Java. They were on their way home to Bojonegoro when the crash happened.
