Bandung-based glam-rock band /RIF aims to change its image with its upcoming ninth album. The band is known for producing songs that have social and political messages, but with its new album, vocalist and front man Andy said it would offer songs with more popular themes.

'€œThe new album is around 85 percent complete. We want to convey more peaceful themes in our songs because we have grown tired of social issues in Indonesia,'€ Andy was quoted as saying by kompas.com.

'€œThe fans have been overwhelmed by the ongoing social issues. We want to give them something light. We are not trying to make them naive, we just want to give them new spirit.'€
