Comedian and radio host Ronal Surapradja is a self-confessed die-hard music fan.
He looks up to U2, has released two albums ' Ronaldisko and Rocknal, in 2007 and 2010, respectively ' and is also an owner of the RoofTopSound recording company, which produces Aimee Saras and Sore's albums.
The 37-year-old relies on his gadgets to enjoy anything music-related ' from listening to capturing valuable moments at music concerts.
When he's outside, he puts on his headphones to enjoy some tunes. At home, Ronal docks his iPhone to hear soothing melodies through several speakers that are set around his house.
'From the kitchen area to the garage, my house is pretty much like the malls [in terms of its speaker system],' jokes Ronal.
For laptops, Ronal chooses Apple's MacAir. He has been spending time working on the laptop to finish a book project with long-time working partner Tike Priatnakusumah.
'I may use 'Cerita Roti' ' short for Cerita Ronal Tike [A Story of Ronal and Tike] ' as the title of our upcoming autobiography,' says Ronal, who has a radio program with Tike at JakFM radio station.
For now, Ronal chooses not to use an iPad, although he's been thinking of getting one.
'The reason for not having an iPad is because I don't want my two children to get addicted to it,' says the father of a five-year-old son and a one-year-old daughter.
iPhone 5
I love my iPhone because it allows me to listen to some great songs through the AccuRadio streaming service. I have collected a pile of songs from various genres ' but 80 percent of them are rock music ' from the service. By the way, I'm forever in love with The Spa Channel on the streaming service because it offers soothing tracks, which are great in helping you to fall asleep.
Samsung Galaxy Camera
It is one of the most important gadgets while attending concerts since you're not allowed to bring your DSLR camera. This is a pocket camera, but it has 21x zooming ability which allows you to take close-up pictures from a distance ' just like a DSLR does ' with good results. Plus, you can share those images right away on your social media accounts with this camera.
I brought this little devil when I attended Melbourne's Big Day Out in 2013 and 2014 and I got great shots from the concerts.
