Emirates executive vice president and chief commercial officer Thierry Antinori said the Dubai'€“Bali daily flight service will be launched on June 3.

'€œBali is a significantly important market for Emirates. There is a high interest in Bali from across our network, specifically in the leisure segment,'€ Antinori told The Jakarta Post on Tuesday, adding that Dubai would connect passengers from Bali to more than 80 destinations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and America.

The non-stop daily flight service will be operated by a Boeing B777-3000 Extended Range (ER) with a two class configuration.

'€œThe new service will greatly increase convenience, choice and consistency of travel experiences for consumers who currently have to travel via multiple stops, or via other points in Indonesia to reach Bali,'€ he said.

He added that the island of gods would become the carrier'€™s 148th global destination and strengthen its networks in the Asia-Pacific region, which spans 23 points in 13 countries.

The passengers have an added bonus of a generous baggage allowance: 30 kilograms for those traveling in the economy class and 40 kilograms for the business class.

The carrier commenced its services to the Indonesian market back in 1992 with three flights a week via Singapore and Colombo.

Beginning in March two years ago, it started offering three non-stop flights daily from Jakarta to Dubai.
