Superstar soccer player David Beckham was recently in the Lion City shooting a commercial for the Marina Bay Sands ' in secret, amid more than 100,000 daily visitors, according to his director, Anthony Mandler.
'It's like working with friends,' Mandler, who also shot Rhianna's Diamonds video, said in an email. 'He's the ultimate gentleman.'
The climax of the shoot, which was done in over 25 hours in two days, was a scene showing Beckham standing on a platform at the Sands SkyPark's infinity pool to capture a panoramic view of the city.
'I have collaborated with Marina Bay Sands on a wide range of projects ranging from charity events, inspirational workshops and festive celebrations,' Beckham, 39, said in a statement. This is a brand that always aspires to be the best in everything it does.'
