Cortesy of Marina Bay Sands Pte Ltd

Superstar soccer player David Beckham was recently in the Lion City shooting a commercial for the Marina Bay Sands '€” in secret, amid more than 100,000 daily visitors, according to his director, Anthony Mandler.

'€œIt'€™s like working with friends,'€ Mandler, who also shot Rhianna'€™s Diamonds video, said in an email. '€œHe'€™s the ultimate gentleman.'€

The climax of the shoot, which was done in over 25 hours in two days, was a scene showing Beckham standing on a platform at the Sands SkyPark'€™s infinity pool to capture a panoramic view of the city.

'€œI have collaborated with Marina Bay Sands on a wide range of projects ranging from charity events, inspirational workshops and festive celebrations,'€ Beckham, 39, said in a statement. This is a brand that always aspires to be the best in everything it does.'€
