he South Sulawesi Police are looking into why a hangar that was under construction suddenly collapsed at Hassanuddin International Airport in Makassar on Monday, killing five workers and injuring 14 others.
South Sulawesi Police detective chief Sr. Comr. Heri Dahana said the police were collecting documents related to the hangar's construction, which is being built at a cost of Rp 46.2 billion (US$3.5 million) from the state budget, amid indications the funds were misused.
'The team of investigators has collected documents and questioned four witnesses responsible for the construction [project],' Heri said.
Meanwhile, four of the 14 victims were still being treated at Daya General Hospital for severe injuries to their legs and backs.
