Kalla is also scheduled to meet with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida, the vice presidential office said as reported by Antara news agency.

Kalla said on Monday he would share Indonesia`s experience in mitigating the impacts of natural disasters such as earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis and others. He will also submit Indonesia`s suggestions regarding mitigation efforts on the impacts of natural disasters.

He said that the UN conference will also formulate a joint international effort in the handling of the impacts of natural disasters.
