The City Council'€™s right of inquiry investigative team questioned on Thursday Sylviana Murni, the assistant to the governor for tourism.

The councilors earlier unanimously decided to exercise their rights of inquiry to investigate the authenticity of a draft budget submitted by the city administration to the Home Ministry.

Sylviana, however, was questioned in relation to a photo uploaded online depicting Governor Basuki '€œAhok'€ Tjahaja Purnama'€™s wife Veronica Tan and his younger brother Harry Basuki participating in a meeting on West Jakarta'€™s Kota Tua revitalization project. In the photo, Veronica and Harry sat in the center of the room as if they were leading the meeting.

'€œThe content of the questioning was not related to the 2015 budget. They asked whether I was intimidated [into letting Veronica and Harry lead the meeting]. I was not and they weren'€™t leading the meeting,'€ Sylviana told reporters at City Hall on Friday.

Previously, Ahok said his wife and brother had been invited to participate in the meeting and a big deal should not be made of the seating arrangements. The councilors are scheduled to question Veronica soon.
