After marking his 41st birthday, veteran rocker Kaka from Slank says that he's given up smoking to keep up his stamina.
'Yeah, it's got to be so,' Kaka said in South Jakarta at the launch of the group's new album, d'Harmony House, on Wednesday, as quoted by kompas.com. 'This birthday has reduced my life in the world.'
Slank drummer Bimbim, also on hand for the launch, said that Kaka's move was done only recently.
'Kaka quit smoking, but then, he had only just started,' Bimbim, who himself kicked the habit six years ago, said.
Kaka, however, is undeterred. 'Forty-one means partying and having fun,' he said, laughing.
