eputy secretary-general of the Agung Laksono-led Golkar Party camp, Samsul Hidayat, warned the Prabowo Subianto-led Red-and-White Coalition (KMP) against interfering in Golkar'€™s internal affairs, saying the party'€™s internal conflict had already been resolved, with the government accepting the decision made by the party'€™s honorary council, which recognized Agung'€™s party leadership.

'€œKMP elite figures should not intervene or play games in the Golkar arena,'€ kompas.com quoted him as saying here on Tuesday.

He also slammed KMP House of Representatives leaders for hindering Golkar legislators from improving their performances.

Samsul accused KMP coalition politicians in House Commission III overseeing legal affairs of pressuring the commission to launch an inquiry into the the law and human rights minister and the National Police chief candidate, Comr. Gen. Badrodin Haiti.

He said Law and Human Rights Minister Yasonna H. Laoly had only performed the administrative task of registering Golkar'€™s valid executive board, as had been decided by the party'€™s honorary court. (rms)
