angerang regency in Banten plans to build a library in each district using funds from the 2015 regional budget.
'One of the purposes is to educate residents, as currently, they still have to go to a bookstore to find books,' Tangerang Regent Ahmed Zaki Iskandar said.
The regency has a few mobile libraries that operate in local markets and crowded places during work hours.
Tangerang councilor Syarifullah voiced support for the plan, saying the service was important because of the limited availability of the mobile libraries.
