Indonesians who grew up in the late 1990s are familiar with the song 'Aku Tak Biasa' (I'm Not Used to It) by the late Alda Risma.
Now, an up-and-coming singer named Febie Rahakbauw is looking to cover the hit for today's generation.
The 22-year-old model said that the song's melody was still catchy.
'There is also a certain challenge for me to properly cover a song that was once so popular,' Febie said as quoted by tribunnews.com. 'I need to make the song my own using my unique voice.'
Febie said the cover would show her commitment to becoming a professional singer.
'Now is my moment,' she said.
