he East Nusa Tenggara Police arrested on Monday Stanislau Nainaif, a suspect in an attack on a police officer in South Biboki.
The provincial police spokesman Adj. Sr. Comr. Agus Santosa said the suspect was arrested at his home in Fatuana village in Insana district in North Timor Tengah. 'The arrest was made following tip-offs from a number of witnesses. The motive for the attack is not clear yet. We are still hunting another suspect,' Agus said.
Police officer Brig. Mathius Firmon was allegedly attacked by the suspect using a sharp weapon when the officer was traveling by motorcycle to South Biboki Police headquarters last month. Mathius suffered serious injuries and was treated at the Kefamenanu State Hospital.
