Ferry Salim says he does not like to be an overprotective father to his oldest son, Brandon.
'I give him freedom for many things ' as long as he knows the limit,' the actor said as quoted by kapanlagi.com.
Brandon said he used to go clubbing, but knew he needed to stop.
'At first I got crazy about clubbing, but then I realized it would only be a burden for my family as they often waited for me if I wasn't home yet,' the 18-year-old said.
Unlike many teenagers, Brandon said he also liked to ask his dad to hang out with his band.
'I give them advice about music, sometimes, and take out to lunch,' Ferry said.
