Pop band Sheila on 7 plans to leave its long-standing music label and go indie, guitarist says.
'We've been working together with the label since 1998, so maybe it's time to try doing indie music,' Eross Chandra said, as quoted by kapanlagi.com.
The band plans to make the break after finishing the promotion of their latest album, Musim Yang Baik (A Good Season), released by Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia.
'We still have lots of off-air offers, like for schools music events, or for city anniversaries,' Eross said.
'After 19 years we're still together and can actively contribute to the local music scene,' he added.
