Greater Jakarta: City begins open recruitment on Friday

he Jakarta administration is set to begin an open recruitment for its echelon officials on Friday.

The recruitment, said regional secretary Saefullah, would be open to all Jakarta civil servants.

'€œThere will be five phases of the open recruitment. First is admissions, second is a competence and integrity test, third is a leadership and independence test, fourth is a health check and finally an interview with the governor and deputy governor,'€ Saefullah said at City Hall on Friday.

The city is also to open admissions for the position of the governor'€™s assistant on spatial planning and environment, an echelon I position. The position is open to all civil servants in the country.

The results, Saefullah said, would be announced early in June.
