Model, actress and presenter Olga Lydia promoted Indonesia at Cannes film festival in France by presenting local dishes.

Olga, who is at the festival as part of the Indonesian delegation, was tasked with promoting Indonesian films during the festival.

After the screening of Tabula Rasa, she served the rendang (beef simmered in coconut milk and spices) that was featured in the movie.

'€œI asked for help from the Indonesian Consulate General to make rendang. I was so happy to see the dish was completely gone in just two minutes,'€ Olga said as quoted by kompas.com. '€œI didn'€™t even have the chance to taste or take pictures of it.'€

The booth also offered Indonesian coffee, as Filosofi Kopi (Coffee Philosopy) participated in the Marchè du Film '€” the business counterpart of Cannes.

Olga said promoting local foods was an effective way to promote Indonesia to the world.
