Actress Zaskia Adya Mecca said she will not take on any sinetron (soap opera) projects during the fasting month of Ramadhan to allow her to spend more time with her family.

'€œMas Hanung asked me not to be too busy during Ramadhan because in our six years of marriage, I always worked during Ramadhan and was never home,'€ she said as quoted by tribunnews.com, referring to her husband, filmmaker Hanung Bramantyo.

'€œSo I will stop starring in Ramadhan sinetron this year and be with my family instead.'€

However, Zaskia, who starred in Hanung'€™s Ayat-ayat Cinta (Love Verses), said she would still probably take part in regular shows for Ramadhan.

In addition, she wanted to focus on her Muslim wear business, Meccanizm. '€œRamadhan will be the peak time for Muslim wear. So I also want to focus on the boutique.'€
