he National Police said on Wednesday that they had arrested an Indonesian student for allegedly making hoax bomb threats against Singapore Airlines.
'Yes, we arrested him at his house in Tangerang yesterday,' the director of economic crimes at the police's Detective Corps, Brig. Gen. Victor Edison Simanjuntak, was quoted as saying by kompas.com.
The student, identified only as Ilham, was arrested for allegedly making bomb threats to Singapore Airlines earlier this month.
However, Victor declined to give details of the case, saying that his team was still investigating.
'We arrested only him because he acted alone, but we are still investigating it,' Victor added. (ika)(++++)
