AKARTA: Seasoned lawyer OC Kaligis, who has been detained by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) for alleged bribery, is determined to finish writing a book about his 10 wives and 20 children while spending his days behind bars.
At the KPK headquarters, Kaligis told reporters that the book was 'almost done' to the point that he had already pondered a proper title.
'I'm optimistic I can finish the book,' he said, but he wondered how he would get the draft of his book out of his office, which has been closed since getting searched by KPK agents on Monday.
Kaligis was named a suspect in a bribery case implicating North Sumatra officials that his law firm represents and Medan State Administrative Court (PTUN) judges.
The flamboyant attorney said that he wanted to share through his book tips on how to have many wives without the family being undermined by spats triggered by wives fretting about not being treated equally by their common husband.
Kaligis promised the book would reveal much about his private life, including his affairs with other women.
'I must finish the book,' tribunnews.com quoted him as saying, adding that every one of his 10 wives knew each other, as did his 20 children.
Two of his wives are sisters. His eldest child is 42 years old and the youngest 4.
