wenty-four yachts from 11 countries arrived at Kopan Beach in Kupang city, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), on Wednesday afternoon.
The visitors, who arrived from Australia, the US and Europe, were greeted by Deputy Kupang Mayor Hermanus Man at the beach, located in Lahi-Lahi subdistrict in Besi Kopan district.
'There are another 20 yachts set to berth at Kopan Beach. They're coming from 11 countries, most of them from Europe. The number of yachts is higher than last year's Sail Flobamora event, which was participated in by 38 yachts,' said Hermanus.
Hermanus added that the visitors, numbering around 200 people, were scheduled to leave Kupang on Aug. 8.
