Actor Arifin Putra says he feels like he is living like a vampire while filming HBO'€™s upcoming series, Halfworlds.

Most of the scenes were shot at night in Batam, Riau Islands.

'€œWe become vampires there, shooting from 6 p.m. until 6 a.m.,'€ Arifin said on Friday, as quoted by tribunnews.com.

Given the unusual shooting schedule, Arifin was forced to change his sleeping habits for a month.

'€œMostly, I sleep from morning to noon. When I wake up, it is already sunset,'€ the star of action flick The Raid 2: Berandal said.

Directed by Joko Anwar, Halfworlds is a series about a clash between humans and supernatural creatures.

'€œIn the film, I help a woman save the world from disaster,'€ Arifin added.

Arifin plays the male protagonist, who is tasked to accompany a woman in a war between humans and ghosts, in the series which will be aired on HBO.
