There are no bad soldiers, only bad commanders. Regarding the blackmail and mistreatment of tourists at Ngurah Rai International Airport, the only solution is to dismiss the newly installed immigration chief.
E. Nurdin

Your comments:

I like what E. Nurdin said '€œThere are no bad soldiers, only bad commanders'€. If this suggestion (getting rid of the '€œcommanders'€) were carried out, we wouldn'€™t have a police force at all! This has been going on for years from Medan to Denpasar, with the police in cohorts with the small fry at the airports. It'€™s the police who frequently help foreigners, suggesting they pay a smaller amount to get through immigration.

Luckily, these '€œcommanders'€ live in Indonesia, so if they fail, they won'€™t be required to resign '€” business as usual!
