Mina stampede claims lives of 14 Indonesians, six injured

Fourteen Indonesian haj pilgrims reportedly died in Thursday'€™s stampede following the latest identification announcement on Saturday.

The Foreign Ministry previously announced that three Indonesians were killed during the stampede while 225 others had yet to return to their tents in Mina, Saudi Arabia.

According to the Religious Affairs Ministry's regional haj head, Arsyad Hidayat, 11 more Indonesians were found among the dead victims at around 1 p.m.

'€œIn total, 14 Indonesian pilgrims were killed, while six were injured,'€ said Arsyad as quoted by tribunnews.com. (kes)(++++)
