t has been reported that an Australian court made a ruling that has paved the way for the deportation of asylum seekers to an offshore camp. This camp is notorious for sexual abuse and systematic child abuse.
More than 250 persons, including women and children were taken to Australia for medical treatment, mostly as a result of inhumane living conditions in the camps. Many of the camps are run by private agencies with no regard for human rights.
This is the same country whose people cried themselves hoarse when two drug runners were shot in Indonesia.
After all, a country with a poor human rights track record cannot be expected to understand human value and show consideration for fellow human beings.
They know how to empathize with drug smugglers because only criminals are taken care of. Even UN intervention has no impact and the Australian government has no respect for international conventions.
Obviously, a majority of refugees are from Islamic Middle East countries and hence the indifference of Australia.
