itter makes actress Davina Veronica heartbroken.
'I often travel in the country and every time I see litter I feel sad,' she said as reported by tribunnews.com on Thursday.
She recently visited a beach, famous as a tourist destination.
'I planned to run along the beach, but seeing the litter, I spent the whole day picking it all up.'
Davina said the government should provide more trash bins in public areas to stop littering.
The 37-year-old also took part in the government campaign to reduce the use of plastic bags.
Starting on Feb. 21, shoppers will have to pay for plastic grocery bags.
'I think each plastic bag should be priced at Rp 100,000 [US$7.44] so people will bring their own shopping bags.'
