PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. or BNI (stock code: BBNI) continues to strengthen the performance of home financing, especially in encouraging home ownership among Millenials working for state-owned-enterprises (SOEs).

BNI has signed a cooperation agreement with PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero) or PLN to distribute consumer credit facilities for PLN employees.

Present at the signing ceremony were PLN president director Darmawan Prasodjo and BNI services and network director Ronny Venir and BNI consumer banking director Corina Leyla Karnalies in Jakarta, Thursday (27/10/2022).

Ronny said that the strategic step is evident of the close synergy between SOEs in addressing various issues, including home ownership for Millenials in SOEs.

He said that one of the consumer credit facilities that PLN employees can utilize is the BNI Griya home ownership credit (KPR), which eases the ownership of special houses for PLN employees.

As well as giving benefits during a purchase of new and used properties, the facility offered by BNI is more flexible for construction and renovation, take over, top up, refinancing and multipurpose.

“We are grateful for this opportunity to collaborate with PLN. We have Griya housin products to help Millenials working for SOE to own their dream homes and boost their performance and productivity at work,” Ronny said.

To that end, BNI provides mortgages with interest rates starting from 2.76%, affordable installments, and cost reductions through BNI Griya products.

In addition, BNI has collaborated with leading national and local developers spread around BNI branches. These developers earn the privileges offered by BNI Griya KPR and other enticing offers.

For the convenience of PLN employees, BNI assists them in finding property information and requirements to apply for a BNI Griya KPR. BNI has launched BNI DigiGriya (https://bnidigigriya.id), a new platform that is user friendly, comprehensive and provides easy access to mortgage facilities with BNI partner developers anywhere and anytime.

“BNI DigiGriya has excellent features that makes it stand out from other e-commerce housing platforms: Project Listing from hundreds of the best and most trusted developers who have collaborated with BNI, easy consultation with experienced property consultants, integration of direct mortgage applications with BNI directly online through an eForm, program updates and the best mortgage promos from BNI, and more," he concluded.

BNI has shown a positive trend in property loans, especially the BNI Griya KPR, during the third quarter of 2022. As of Semptember 2022, it reached Rp 51.9 trillion (US$ 3.3 billion), with a 6.53 percent year-on-year (yoy) growth from Rp 48.8 trillion during the same period last year.

The BNI Griya consumer credit distribution agreement is hoped to increase the collaboration between PLN and BNI.
