To show that monosodium glutamate (MSG) is safe, Sasa has presented PerhiaSan, the first MSG-based jewelry in the world.
T Sasa Inti, a leading food and seasoning company in the country, has released PerhiaSan, a ring made of monosodium glutamate (MSG). For the first time, this PerhiaSan collection by Sasa will be showcased at the Bridestory Market from Oct. 5-8, 2023, at ICE BSD.
MSG has been commonly used as a flavor enhancer for decades. Unfortunately, many people have come to believe that MSG can harm the body, although this has not been proven.
In fact, this food additive is made from natural ingredients including sugarcane sap through the process of fermentation. The glutamate substance is extracted from naturally fermented sugarcane and then undergoes a crystallization process. MSG consists of three substances: 78 percent glutamic acid and 22 percent sodium and water.
Sasa aims to change the misconceptions about MSG by launching "PerhiaSan by SASA". The PerhiaSan is a ring made through the natural crystallization process of sugarcane sap to produce MSG crystals.
At the event, Sasa will not only showcase its innovations but also provide visitors with exciting experiences, ranging from educational activities to in-depth information on how PerhiaSan is made.
If you would like to learn more about PerhiaSan by Sasa, come to the Bridestory Market, one of the largest wedding events in Indonesia, from Oct. 5-8, 2023, at ICE BSD, and witness the launch of the world's first jewelry piece made from MSG.
