Demian Aditya wows judges on ‘America’s Got Talent’

llusionist Demian Aditya wowed judges of TV show America’s Got Talent with his escape act during his audition aired on May 30 local time on NBC.
Prior his performance, Demian explained that it was his second time carrying out the escape act.
“This is your dangerous escape act?” asked one of the judges, Howie Mandel. “Why? What could happen?”
“He could die,” answered Simon Cowell, who has returned to the show for his second round as a judge.
“I will be locked up [starting from my] ankles, wrists and neck with only a fragile cover above me,” Demian said. “I have two minutes to escape before 900 pounds [408 kilograms] of sand above that cross the cover and bury me alive.”

With the help of his two crew members, Demian carried out his escape act, leaving the judges and crowd in anxiety. The sand slowly fell into the cover while Demian was still trying to escape below. However, suddenly the cover went down when Demian was still inside.
Two of his crew members tried to save him by breaking the case. This caused the audience to scream and Mandel to stand up and ask, “Is that a problem?”

But, of course, Demian was safe and he showed up on stage by pretending to be one of his crew members. All of the judges were left in shock and speechless, including Cowell who smiled at Demian at the end of the performance.
The video of his performance, which was posted by the show on YouTube, is “#1 on Trending” with more than 4.2 million views.
Demian’s performance was included on the first episode of the latest season of America’s Got Talent. (asw)
