Fans of the Fifty Shades of Grey series can expect to enjoy a new book slated for release on Nov. 28.

Titled Darker: Fifty Shades Darker as Told by Christian, the novel written by EL James will be published under Penguin Random Houses’ Vintage Books.

Unlike the series' first three books -- Fifty Shades of Grey, Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed -- that are narrated from the perspective of the main female character, Anastasia Steele, Darker will explore the story in the second book from the main male character Christian Grey’s point of view.

Fans previously got Grey's perspective in the first book, Grey: Fifty Shades of Grey as Told by Christian, released in 2015 and reportedly sold around 4 million copies.

“The inside of Christian Grey’s head is a fascinating place to be,” James told Publishers Weekly. “In Grey, we get the first glimpse of what makes Christian tick, but in Darker we go deeper, into his most painful memories and the encounters that made him the damaged, demanding Ana falls in love with.”

Darker is slated for release in United States, Canada and United Kingdom, among others.

The series has been adapted into two movies starring Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson. A third film taken from the third book, Fifty Shades Freed, is set to premiere in the US on Feb. 9, 2018. (kes)
