The official trailer for Mile 22 has been released, showing actor Iko Uwais in action with Mark Wahlberg.

Iko posted a snippet of the trailer on his Instagram account.

Directed by Peter Berg, the action-thriller tells the story of an elite American intelligence agent who tries to smuggle an officer who holds life-threatening information out of a foreign country.

The movie also stars John Malkovich, Lauren Cohan and Ronda Rousey.

According to CNN Indonesia, Iko was also the action choreographer for the movie.

Iko rose to fame with his martial arts expertise in Merantau (2009), as well as The Raid: Redemption (2011) and The Raid 2 (2014), in which he also served as action choreographer.

He also landed roles in Man of Tai Chi (2013), Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015) and Headshot (2016).
