cDonald’s Indonesia started offering a new, limited-time item, ayam kremes sambal matah (fried chicken with crunchy bits and raw chili relish) on Tuesday.

“Sambal matah is among the popular sambals in Indonesia,” said McDonald’s Indonesia associate director of communication Sutji Lantyka.

Sutji added that this year the fast food chain had launched several local flavors.
In addition to ayam kremes sambal matah, McDonald’s Indonesia also launched kedondong fizz, a carbonated drink made of kedondong (hog plum) juice.
The fried chicken set is available in two packages, with or without egg. Priced at Rp 31,818 (US$2.30) and Rp 37,737, respectively, the package includes rice, kedondong fizz and a choice of crispy or spicy fried chicken.
Ayam kremes sambal matah is available until July 8. (jes/kes)
