Pictures of Instagram HQ insiders and guests having tea in a Versace-designed mini room are soon to appear on your social media feed.
miniature Versace mansion set-up has been installed at Instagram’s new Astor Place office in New York. Italian fashion designer Donatella Versace decorated the tiny walls and arranged a toy-sized table in the mini mansion at the new office’s signature MiNY Conference Room, Vogue reported.
Taking photos in the teeny tiny miniature conference room is now considered an Instagram bucket list item for the social-media conscious. Other bucket list moments include a coffee break at Café Kitsune Jardin du Palais Royal, Paris, or a pleasant afternoon at Los Angeles Country Museum of Art (LACMA) where David Burden’s Urban Light installation stands.
While anyone can drop by at Café Kitsune for a coffee or visit LACMA, the MiNY Conference Room at Astor Place is not for the public. Only insiders and guests invited by Facebook and Instagram have access to the room.
Donatella Versace was seen enjoying a cup of tea using a Versace tea set at the MiNY room with Eva Chen, director of fashion partnerships at Instagram, as was star DJ Mick Batyske, who wrote that he stopped by for tea on his way to the airport.
The Versace-themed MiNY room is not Instagram’s first room of its kind. There was also a ‘pint-size’ conference room at Facebook and Instagram’s previous office, which as hosted the likes of Karlie Kloss, Melissa Joan Hart and Sarah Jessica Parker.

Other insta-worthy spots in the new office include a vertical garden, a juice and gelato bar and a rotating art exhibition space. The whole office has an open-floor concept, bathed in ample natural light during the daytime. (ely/mut)
