Zooey Deschanel, Natalie Dormer tapped as Crocs global ambassadors

Throughout the year-long campaign, the ambassadors will encourage consumers to express themselves while being comfortable and stylish.

ootwear brand Crocs has recruited five celebrities as its global brand ambassadors for the third year of its "Come as You Are" campaign.

The five celebrities are award-winning actress and director Zooey Deschanel, British actress Natalie Dormer, Chinese actress and dancer Gina Jin, South Korean Gugudan girl-band member Kim Se-Jeong, and Japanese actress and model Suzu Hirose. They will be featured in the campaign’s marketing materials beginning 2019.

"I love that we are all unique. I am excited to have the opportunity to inspire others to embrace their individuality,"  said Deschanel in a statement.

Throughout the year-long campaign, the ambassadors will encourage consumers to express themselves while being comfortable and stylish. The campaign will highlight some of Crocs’ products, which are Classic Clog, LiteRide, Crocs Serena and Swiftwater sandal collections.

"We are eager to see how a talented, unique and self-expressive cast can redefine what it means to be comfortable in your own shoes," Crocs CMO Terence Reilly said.

Come as You Are is Crocs’ global marketing campaign first launched in 2017. This year’s message is “everyone comfortable in their own shoes”. (iru/kes)
