AKARTA: Officers from the directorate general of customs and excise arrested a suspect during a raid on a rented house in South Jakarta's Ciputat, which had been used to produce counterfeit duty labels, an official said Wednesday.

Director general Anwar Suprijadi said the factory's operations had caused state revenue losses of more than Rp 3 billion (US$300,000).

"We've confiscated the machine and printer used to produce counterfeit duty labels. We also detained a suspect, AH," he said.

According to Husain, the house owner, AH, had rented the house for more than a year. "He sells cake and that is all what we know about his job," he said.
