JAKARTA: In the wake of his divorce from pop diva Krisdayanti, or KD, musician Anang Hermansyah has made one last mini album for the woman he lived with for 13 years.

According to Anang, the mini sing-along album “tells the whole story of [his] broken feelings about KD and her affair”.

“All of the songs in this album are about KD,” Anang says.

“I wrote one of the songs, ‘Separuh Jiwaku Telah Pergi’ [Half My Soul Has Gone], on Aug. 28, ten days after I divorced her [under Islamic procedure].”

Anang says he feels he has lost his soul mate of many years. KD had actually sought a divorce five times previously. Rumors are rife that KD’s latest affair was with a renowned millionaire from Timor Leste.

“My heart is broken; now my I’ve lost my other half,” says Anang, accompanied by his children Azriel and Auriel.

Auriel, 11, says she cannot accept her mother’s affair, and blames KD for her money-grubbing ways.
“Mimi [Mom] loves to compare [our lifestyle] with [those of] her rich friends,” she says.

“She loves to say bad things about Dad in front of other people. We want [Dad] to find a better [mother for us].”

Anang admits he and KD differ in their outlook on life. While he has always strived for a modest life, he says KD has always wanted to live in luxury. This, he adds, fueled the fights between the two, especially over financial matters. — JP
