Anang’s 90s look a turnoff: Ashanty

J

AKARTA: Lovebirds Anang and Ashanty announced on Friday that they would shoot a video for their latest song in China. The chart-topping duo declined to comment on the video.

“Just wait and see,” said Anang, who had just finished shooting the popular live morning show Dahsyat.

Dahsyat is known for pulling unforgiving pranks on celebrity guests. Anang was no exception, as a video clip from the 90s featuring himself — with signature long hair and rock star swagger — was shown on a big screen.

“I don’t want to have a 90s concept for our next video. Anang’s flowing long hair was such a turnoff. I was still in primary school when that video came out. I am 14 years younger than Anang,” said Ashanty with a chuckle.

“I wouldn’t want to be with Anang anymore should he decide to grow his hair long again. That trend has passed,” she quipped.
