AKARTA: Subang Regency, West Java, will send 15 high school graduates to study in Germany.
“We will send them on Dec.15,” Subang Education Agency high school curriculum section head Dedi Supriadi said on Monday as quoted by tempo.co.
Most of the students will major in information technology.
The students are now learning about the language, culture and geography of Germany at the Institute for Community Development at the Indonesian Education University in Bandung.
The regency has allocated Rp 2 billion (US$221,300) from its regional budget for the program since last year.
