JAKARTA: The descendants of former president Soeharto seem to be facing difficult times
AKARTA: The descendants of former president Soeharto seem to be facing difficult times.
After the arrest of Soeharto’s great grandchild Putri Aryanti Haryowibowo for drug possession, it is now the late president’s grandson’s turn to face the police.
Panji Trihatmadjo, the son of Soeharto’s third child, was reported to the police after an assault at a Jakarta nightclub last month.
Andhika Mahatidana, who happens to be the grandson of another of Indonesia’s founding fathers, Adam Malik, reported Panji for throwing a glass at him and wounding him in the left temple.
The man told detikhot.com earlier this week that he had to be rushed to the hospital after the incident.
The case is now being investigated by the South Jakarta Police.
