Jakarta students to enroll in national exam

AKARTA: The Jakarta Education Agency announced Saturday that a total of 416,179 students would enroll in the National Exam, scheduled to be held in April and May.

Agency chief Taufik Yudi Mulyanto said that the administration had validated the data, which would be announced to schools and parents.

“A gubernatorial decree will be issued for the exam dates and organization,” Taufik said.

The Education and Culture Ministry announced that the National Exam for senior high school students would be held from April 16 to 19, for junior high school from April 23 to 26 and for elementary students from May 7 to 9.

City agency data showed that a total of 124,722 senior high school, 134,675 junior high school and 156,782 elementary students would sit their final exams this year.
