AKARTA: Comedian Indra Birowo has denied having an affair with actress Nikita Mirzani.
The 35-year-old responded to the rumor that spread after shocking claims were made by Nikita earlier this week. The actress claimed she was involved in a forbidden love with Indra last year.
“There is nothing [between us]. Maybe she just wanted to get me onto the infotainment shows. I am not sure. We don’t have any problem at all,” he said as quoted by kapanlagi.com on Friday.
The father of two said the rumor has not affected his family.
“Me and my wife are fine. The important thing is that me and my wife are not bothered with what people are saying,” Indra added.
The star, who catapulted to fame through the Extravaganza comedy show, said he did not plan to launch defamation proceedings against Nikita.
